Consciousness: Moving On

The way we define consciousness is sticky. The dictionary definition is simply "the state of being awake and aware of one's surroundings". However, I think most of us would argue that it is more than that. While a touch dramatic, I'm choosing to mark graduation as consciousness in this extended metaphor. I've learned all that I can at UW, and now it's time for me to go out and be a real person in the real world. Below I share some details about my final two weeks at the UW and what I will be doing next.

Graduation!

Graduation is just two short weeks away and I am feeling both incredibly excited and incredibly sad. Reflecting through this portfolio has been surprising emotional and cathartic. On the right you see a video of me and a couple of friends doing the classic champagne pop in front of Suzzallo Library.

University of Minnesota GPN

This summer I will be moving to Minneapolis to start graduate school at the University of Minnesota! I will be an incoming PhD student in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience.
